"The world will drink the Chalice of Divine Wrath." -- Our Lady’s apocalyptic warning to humanity. Have you heard of Jesus and Our Lady's apparitions in Heede, Germany? In 1937, four girls received private revelations from Jesus and Our Blessed Mother in the town of Heede.
The Warning
These messages warned of the evils that humanity would bring upon itself if they did not return to God. Father Mark Goring posted a video recounting the story of these supernatural manifestations.
The first apparitions of Our Lady in Heede.
Our Lady appeared to four girls in a church where they went to pray for the Souls in Purgatory on All Saints' Day. When Ana Schulte, Susanna Bruns, and Margaret and Greta Ganseforth explained what happened, the residents received their testimony with skepticism. But before long, miraculous healings occurred, revealing its authenticity.
Many pilgrims traveled to Heede from nearby towns and villages to hear the messages. However, these were the times of the Nazi regime, so the Gestapo intervened and concluded that the Heede appearances were simply superstition.
Arrested by the Nazis
As a result, the Nazis arrested the girls and put them in an asylum for a month. They were then released and forbidden to return to the apparition site. However, Our Lady continued to appear in secret. She revealed scenes of disasters and warned of terrible events that could occur and be considered as a lesser judgment. According to Father Goring, she was allegedly referring to World War II.
Jesus' words to the girls:
"Humanity disregarded the voice of the Most Holy Mother when she revealed herself at Fatima and admonished them to do penance. Now I myself have come to warn the world. The times are serious. May the people finally do penance for their sins. May they distance themselves from evil with all their hearts and pray. Pray much that the indignation of God be calmed. May they especially recite often the Holy Rosary. This prayer is powerful with God."
"Mankind finds itself in a worse state than before the deluge (Noah's Ark). Mankind is suffocating in sin. Hatred and greed rule their hearts. This is the work of the devil."
Our Lady's words to the girls:
In another Heede apparition, the Virgin said to Greta: "The world is about to drink the dregs of the chalice of divine wrath for their innumerable sins which wound the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Pray. Pray a great deal, especially for the conversion of sinners."
Do Not be Afraid
Father Mark Goring said that when Heede's apparitions took place, the Diocese of Osnabrück, Germany declared there was undeniable proof of the seriousness and authenticity of these manifestations.
Father Goring concludes his account explaining that these visions should not result in fear of the faithful. On the contrary, they invite us to correct our mistakes and weaknesses and draw closer to God. Here is the video.
